About PutuPrincess Escapes...
My name is Darcy and I am the founder and designer behind PPE. While I was looking for an escape from the corporate grind, my wonderfully wise and intuitive grandmother suggested spending some time doing something I liked. I was, at the time, wearing a very (overly) worn favorite t-shirt. She said “go make shirts”. So began a series of trials and errors and various attempts at harnessing some of the family’s artistic talent.
I now design and paint all the artwork you see here and in the Etsy shop on to 100% organic and sustainable cotton tees, infant clothing, and decorative pillows.
I have been lucky enough to backpack my way through much of Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central America. Along the way there was a pathetic little ball of fur and fleas...Putu! She is a wonderful example of pure love and devotion.
All of these amazing experiences influence the creative process that has become PutuPrincess Escapes... away from the ordinary!

My goal is to provide creative inspiration and encourage love and respect for the natural world around us...

Nature Inspired Clothing for Everyday Living!

I also like getting to play with paint and color! I hope you enjoy wearing my shirts as much as I do creating!

Thanks for visiting us,

Darcy
